About Shaykh Dr. Ahmad Saad Al-Azhari: An Egyptian-born scholar with Prophetic lineage, Shaykh Ahmad memorised the Qur’an at age 10, studied at Al-Azhar, and earned his PhD from the University of Birmingham, UK. Founder of the Ihsan Institute, he is known worldwide for making traditional Islamic knowledge relevant today. His teaching spans Qur’an, Hadith, Maliki fiqh, Arabic grammar, tafsīr and literature, and he is the author of Contemplating the Qur’an and Forty Parables from the Qur’an. This majlis is part of his Southeast Asian Tour : Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur.
