In this episode, we sat and talked with Aliza Kim, American muslim activist who moved to Malaysia years ago. As a divorcee, Aliza is the very few people who is actively speaking up about the taboo around the issue of divorce in society, especially for women. Moreover, she shared with us what it's like to move past that difficult stage in her life and embarked on a new beginning.

Aliza is an Islamic Inspirational speaker and da’wah activist. After finding success in the entertainment industry, she underwent a spiritual journey that led her to convert to Islam in 2011, documented in her series Finding Him. Today, she holds a Master’s in International Business and uses her platform as a Social Impact Leader to advocate for humanitarian causes, such as the UMMI Project, and share her story of faith globally.

Uyghur-French author, activist, and business leader based in Jakarta. She wrote Story of the Stolen Homes, a children’s book about Palestine, with proceeds supporting humanitarian causes.
