Her extensive religious studies include time spent at the Fajr Institute in Cairo, Egypt, and Dar al Zahra, an Islamic University for Women in Hadramaut, Yemen.
Shafira is a presenter, radio host, and notable actress who first gained recognition through the MTV VJ Hunt in 2006. In the film industry, she has appeared in works such as Ayat-Ayat Cinta (2008) and Cahaya dari Timur: Beta Maluku (2014), the latter earning her a nomination for the Piala Maya Awards.
